We are now accepting AND recycling asphalt shingles!
As a homeowner or roofing contractor concerned with the environment, you know that you need to properly dispose of your roofing shingles. Shingle recycling is the process of taking asphalt shingles and collecting them for reuse into another products. This helps to eliminate landfill waste and saves valuable resources.
Make a positive environmental contribution
Recycled asphalt shingles are most commonly used in new road pavement, reducing costs for paving. Ground-up shingles are added to the pavement and may actually improve the quality of the new road. Recycled shingles are also used as material to make new roofing products or to produce energy. Additional uses are being explored. Asphalt shingle recycling also helps to create jobs within the recycling industry.
Competitive Pricing – We are not subject to state mandated tipping fees, land fill fuel surcharges, or host fees. These savings are directly passed onto customers via lower tipping fees.
To help our team facilitate the recycling process more efficiently, we ask you to place all metals and bagged garbage, including the plastic from the shingles, on top of all shingle loads so they can be accessed and disposed of properly.
Facility rules and regulation: Safety equipment is to be worn at all times. This includes high visibility clothing, safety shoes/boots, and gloves.
